These are a collection of videos that I have made. They each represent an interest of the immaterial and the indefinable through their simple mysteriousness. I made these videos using familiar objects and places in my home as well as natural elements like water and light, as the focus of my videos.  Due to my need to represent the void in video art, through the unfamiliar and the immaterial, I chose to create video installations, were I either displayed my videos on glass, such as in the EM1 Lounge Void (2013), or on unconventional areas of a room, such as the floor display in Tower of Light (2014). My interest in notions of the unfamiliar and the immaterial has led me to record and distort objects and natural elements because I associate these effects with that which is hidden or shifted from man’s understanding of themselves in space. I have done this in EM1 Lounge Void (2013), where I distorted the effects of light, in EMH2O- An-Other-Space (2013) I  recorded water as it moved to steam and in Tower of Light (2014) where I recorded from inside a cell phone tower  and zoomed in and out, thereby creating the effect of distorted space-time.  All of which, was created to evoke a kind of transcendence and human consciousness of physical space versus non-space, which I associate with an indefinable, spacial void.
